Lily communicates the unique stories experienced by artists featured at the Brittany Davis Gallery. Her main focus is on bringing artists and art lovers from different communities together to cultivate a fellowship of expressive dreamers, thinkers, movers, and shakers. She has an affinity for installations that confront society with bold commentary--her favorite being anonymous England-based street artist, Banksy, who constantly makes headlines for his political pieces.
Louisa Edwards has her AA in Studio Art and Art history from SBCC and has been admitted to The School of Art Institute of Chicago.
Growing up, in Santa Barbara’s Mission Canyon, she was free to roam and explore the world around her. As an adult, she feels the same curiosity and playfulness when looking at, creating and talking about art.
She has explored multiple realms of vocational art, such as interning at the SB Museum of contemporary art, mentoring a youth lead entrepreneurial art team, working with shoe designer Charlotte Stone, and in the position of assistant manager at a gallery-boutique on State Street.
